Local Gordon and Buchan MP Harriet Cross recently wrote a letter to Aberdeenshire Council Chief Executive Officer Jim Savage over the implementation of parking charges in Burn Lane Car Park in Inverurie. The success of Inverurie town centre is something that should be celebrated and used as a model across the UK. Harriet has urged that the decision be reconsidered and at the very least free parking permits be offered to local workers.
