Harriet Cross MP recently wrote to Aberdeenshire Council following the announcement of plans to close 13 libraries across Aberdeenshire. Harriet said “Libraries are often the heartbeat of the community, acting as a local town hall, social hub and refuge for many. As such it is important that the Council clearly details the rationale and process that led to this decision.”
