Local Gordon and Buchan MP Harriet Cross was appointed to serve as a Junior Opposition Whip in Kemi Badenoch's Shadow Cabinet. This role helps Harriet build relationships with fellow Conservative MPs from across the UK, and find common issues faced by colleagues across the United Kingdom to then develop solutions for Gordon and Buchan. Part of her role is to ensure that MP's support the party through votes and hold the Labour UK Government to account effectively.
